Bob's impressive background includes senior executive roles with leading software companies, most recently serving as the General Manager of the Database Performance Management business at SolarWinds, where he successfully led the acquisition of SentryOne for $143 million in October 2020. As the CEO of SentryOne, he achieved remarkable success, doubling the business to $30 million in four years, showcasing his expertise in driving rapid and sustainable growth.
Prior to SolarWinds, Bob played a key role on the operating team of Alpine Investors, acquiring and managing small SaaS companies. He also founded Expressor Software Corporation, a data integration software company, later acquired by QlikTech in 2013. With a career that spans successful IPOs, including Object Design and IONA Technologies, Bob has developed numerous senior software executives, with fourteen of them becoming CEOs of successful software companies.
